According to the report of Topline Securities, in this year 2023 overall, the Pakistani currency is the top in terms of decline, which has decreased in value by 16%, while the second country is Bangladesh, whose currency has fallen by 2.5% compared to the dollar in the rest of the region. Currencies of 12 countries including Sri Lanka have increased.


On a year-on-year basis, the Sri Lankan currency depreciated by 45.1% in a year, followed by Pakistan, whose currency fell by 34.5%, while Bangladesh was third with a decline of 18.8%.


If we examine the value of the currencies of different countries in the region compared to the dollar, then the currency of Vietnam is the lowest value where the value of the dollar is 23 thousand 472 rupees in the Vietnamese currency, the second place is the currency of Indonesia where the value of the dollar is 14970 rupees in the third place. The Sri Lankan currency is on the fourth place where the dollar is 366.83 rupees and on the fifth place is the Pakistani rupee.
