The 5-year experience took the economy from 24th to 47th, Finance Minister
While addressing the National Islamic Economic Forum, Ishaq Dar said that Islamic economic system is very close to my heart, I wish to end the usurious system in the country as soon as possible, our efforts for good deeds will be successful.
The finance minister said that if everyone tries, they will be successful in bringing Islamic banking system. Banks have filed an application in the Supreme Court against the decision to introduce usury system. We came to power and directed the State Bank and National Bank. to withdraw the appeal.
Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan was developing in 2016-17, Pakistan's growth rate was 6% and was the 24th largest economy in the world, but today we have come down to the 47th economy in the world. This is the effect of 5 years of experience, the problem of inflation and LCs is a result of mismanagement.
The federal minister said that we all have to get the country out of difficulties and take it out of the path of development, we should learn a lesson and repent to Allah.
