Deputy Administrator Waqf Amalak Asif Khan reached Lal Haveli with a heavy contingent of police and sealed some of its units. A large number of police and FIA officials were also present on the occasion.
On this occasion, Asif Khan said that Sheikh Rashid and his brother are illegally occupying 7 units of waqf property including Lal Haveli. Despite several notices, Sheikh Rashid could not submit the authentic documents of the land. The court has also rejected Sheikh Rasheed's injunction request.

The move was challenged in the High Court
Sheikh Rashid's nephew and former Member of National Assembly Sheikh Rashid Shafiq while talking to the media outside Lal Haveli said that if the move to seal the Haveli was correct, they would not have taken action in the dark of night.
Rashid Shafiq said that the properties of some poor people have also been sealed with us, we will fight the case of the poor, we have challenged the move in the High Court.
